Timeline
I redesigned Deltek's internal UX resource site, consolidating insights into a centralized hub for knowledge sharing.
BACKGROUND
This was a UX Operations initiative for the Deltek UX team, which supports designers as they iterate on Deltek's various enterprise resource planning products.
I worked with the UXOps Manager to audit existing resource documentation, organize resources into intuitive categories, and simplify site navigation on Microsoft SharePoint. By gathering feedback from designers, UX leadership, and product managers, I prioritized content and layout based on usability and team needs. I aligned the design with SharePoint's technical capabilities by consulting with a Solutions Engineer.
PROBLEM
Scattered information hinders the UX team from efficiently accessing key resources, delaying project workflows.
Deltek UX handles numerous product iterations each quarter, but a lack of consistent documentation in a remote work environment has siloed key resources including product case studies, UX research templates, and design best practices throughout multiple platforms. This fragmentation creates roadblocks for designers and the product managers they collaborate with—especially newcomers, who often rely on senior team members for guidance.
OPPORTUNITY

How might we simplify access to essential resources so the UX team can feel supported, capable and inspired in their projects?

Takeaways
As a newcomer to Deltek UX, creating an impactful product for my own team was dynamic and challenging. I closely collaborated with stakeholders and users to redesign the Deltek UX internal repository, addressing inefficiencies in resource access and team collaboration.
Here are 3 main takeaways I learned from this project.
Before concluding my internship, I developed a usability testing guide and user feedback survey for Deltek's UX Operations team to distribute. With UX team input shaping the final iterations, UXOps is now implementing my designs on SharePoint.
